This is a 4yr old gelding by Skip and Slide was bred and raised by Sam and Anita Westfall and then sold to Sandy Bendele. Sandy and her son do all the training.
Just wanted to update you on the two colts
we got out of Skip and Slide. Skip is 6 now and he does
cowboy shootouts with his new owners, Lisa and Brittian, adult and
youth. He started his career last year and has won lots of buckles
and other awards. Everybody remarks about their pretty mare-he's a
gelding. The other one a 4 year
old, Drover, has won halter, color classes with us and did very
well at the palomino youth world and district 4-H show. We
sold him to a lady in Chandler, Sandy Bendele, you might know her son
and husband, they rope. Well she started showing him and the second
show won a saddle for junior all around, she also won amateur all
around too. And the list has just continued to grow. I
think we should get a percent of the loot she wins with him, ha! She
has the best yet to come with him too. Just thought you might want
to know. Skip would have had an impressive sire career siring
colts that do everything.
